Managing subscriber preferences

Horchow has been sending me emails every day for a month. Sometimes two a day - sometimes even three a day. I don’t remember subscribing to its list so I’m not sure why or how it got my email address.


This morning, I clicked the “opt-out” button at the bottom of its message to unsubscribe. And, I have to admit, I was impressed with the process.


The first screen I went to gave me the option of opting-down instead of out. I could also easily change my email address.



I selected “unsubscribe” and was taken to this page:



Horchow asks unsubscribers why they’re leaving. But it also asks if it can send a re-engagement campaign in 12 months:



I like the proactive approach!
